"Keeping you comfortable since 1931"
Did you know we are well into our fourth generation of family management? The owners set the pace for the entire company. They hire and train the people who will service your equipment and answer your calls for help. Everything begins with the owners. Today, many heating companies are owned by gigantic, publicly-held corporations. The owners (managers, really) are held responsible by the stock holders. The stock holders are the real owners. They're not too interested in you.
Other companies are owned by families who grew up talking about the heating business as they sat down to dinner each night. It's in their blood.
OSI is one such family business.
We've been serving this neighborhood since 1931 when our grandfather Morris Levi started the Morris Oil Company with his son Irving, a helper, and one sturdy truck.
We've grown an awful lot since then, but we still share Morris and Irving's sense of family when it comes to our customers. Some things never change. Irving once bought oil on the black-market when it was scarce after WWII. He carried it by hand in five-gallon pails across snow drifts to his customers' houses, and then charged them less than he'd paid for it. Why? Because that's the way a family-owned business operates when times are tough. Families take care of each other.
When you're selecting a heating company, ask to meet the owner and see what happens.
